From a young age, Maya Brinjikji was captivated by the world of fashion—sketching silhouettes and dreaming up designs long before she ever set foot in a studio. For years, she envisioned opening her own boutique—a space that would bring her creative vision to life and reflect the passion she’s nurtured since childhood.
In 2024, everything changed. It was the wake-up call she didn’t know she needed. For too long, she had sidelined her passion. That moment pushed her to take it back. Maya wasn’t just reclaiming her dream—she was redefining it. And in doing so, she made it her mission to inspire every woman to own her ambition and never let it go.

The NAME mISELEN
The name MISELEN is a unique blend of my two names—Maya and Selen. While I was born with the given name Maya, I later chose Selen, a name that reflects my Turkish heritage and personal identity. As a holder of Turkish nationality, it was important for me to embrace both aspects of who I am. I first created the name MISELEN in 2019, and when the right opportunity presented itself, I chose to officially adopt and utilize it in a professional capacity.
